Good Times in S. G.

Over the past weekend, I took the kids for one last trip to Grandma and Grandpa's before this baby comes. We had a great excuse to go because my mom's side of the family was celebrating what would have been my grandfather's 100th birthday were he still alive. It was good to see family I haven't seen in a long time and learn a little more about my grandpa who died when I was about 7. We did the usual stuff in St. George: climbing on the Red Hill, riding horses, playing with the neighbors, eating at Frostop, stopping by the sno shacks, and taking walks by the temple. We had a great time and Ryan didn't even have to miss us because he went to Catalina for the weekend with some old friends from his past.
My dad with his two grandsons. Brady and Brandon are best of friends.

Brandon pondering his bag of candy after breaking open the pinata at the family reunion.

My brother David playing with the kids on the grass.

Maylan scooped up her candy in her shirt because she didn't want to waste time finding herself a bag.

Maylan riding C.J. Brandon went for a ride, too, but my camera battery died. We were waiting all weekend for a new baby horse to be born. The kids were pretty dissapointed that the baby didn't come while we were there.

Your trip to SG look so fun. Maylan looks like quite the rock climber, a new hobby?
