Miss Marissa

So we just keep doing what we do every day and every day, Marissa keeps growing and learning and changing. She is now about 16 and a half months old. I took her to the doctor on her 16 month birthday and she still barely weighs over 20 pounds. We love her littleness! She learns new words all the time and while she's not very understandable to most people, we can usually figure out what she means. She loves to sing, her current favorites are "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Happy Birthday". She loves to go places, play outside, and get into things she's not supposed to. She'll climb into the bathtub with anyone who's getting in and ask for a "posicle" on her way in. If she's looking for something, she'll walk around the house saying, "Kitty, where are you?" She loves books, especially one about kitties that we've basically adopted from the library. She's also formed a strong bond for a little black Webkin kitten that Maylan gave her. She loves her "cakie" (blanket) and her pacis and she even loves to go to bed (but only when she's ready...). She's my constant little buddy as we shuttle the older two to school and other activities and I don't know what I would do without her!
Reading her kitty book at the library.

She really loves the trampoline outside and thinks it's hilarious when the big kids bounce her all over. She tries to jump and it's so cute to watch her try to get her little body off the ground, but she just can't quite do it.
