Field Trip

A very fun and creative friend of mine recently started a little playgroup for babies around Marissa's age. We meet once a week for a little play time and then some circle time with songs and puppets and dancing and such. Marissa (and I) love it, even though sometimes we have a hard time sitting still! Last week, we went on our first official field trip to the cute little puppy store in the mall. Again, a big hit!

Here she is telling me that the doggy says "ruff, ruff". She does awesome with animal sounds now and knows a lot. She did get a little confused and think some of the puppies were kitties, but in her defense, they kind of looked like kitties, too!

She's been loving babies lately, too, and had to pause from the doggies to give another friends' baby a little attention, too.

She watched the doggies very intently.

After we were done with the puppies, we went to the fountains for a little water play. This she also loved. I only got the one picture of her because she wouldn't hold still. We love our playgroup and Marissa loves all her new little friends!
