The Best Sneetch on the Beach

For Dr. Suess' birthday, Maylan's class wanted the kids to come dressed as a character in a Dr. Suess book. Fun idea, but not a lot of easy options. Luckily we were able to pull together the star-bellied sneetch. I think it turned out really cute. Her BFF Lexie also dressed as a star-bellied sneetch. We just had to make sure they didn't act like the star-bellied sneetches from the book. Lexie's mom spyed on the girls while they were out at recess and she said that they were walking around the playground arm in arm with their noses in the air. At least they're getting into character.
