Sunny Days (Finally!)

We've been having some great weather lately and it has been so completely appreciated by us because it's been so cold and rainy so far this year. And what's more fun to do when the weather is nice than to fly a kite? That's what we tried to do today after school and I guess it would have been more fun if there had been more wind and the kite would have actually stayed in the air for longer than a few minutes. But still. We had a good time trying!

This shot was captured by Brandon, our official photographer for the event because Maylan and I were too busy trying to get the darn thing in the air. But as you can see, it did actually fly for a little while at least.

This was something that happened a lot.

This is what Marissa's been up to lately. The stroller is her constant companion both inside and outside these days. Sometimes there's something in it, sometimes it's empty, but she's always pushing it. We took two walks today where she just takes off down the street pushing her stroller and I follow her wherever she feels like going.

And even though she can't quite get the sunglasses on straight, she's still awfully cool!
