This wasn't the first year we've gone to the Ho Ho Parade, but it was the funnest! The Ho Ho Parade is a little-known-of event that our city puts on the week or so before Christmas. The fire trucks and police cars and SWAT trucks and anything else big and cool with lots of lights and sirens makes their way through the city to various stops to hand out candy canes, let the kids climb on the trucks and, of course, see Santa Claus! It's great fun! This year we went up to Ryan's uncle Nathan's house to watch it and that turned out to be the perfect spot!
Santa and Mrs Claus making their big arrival pulled behind a really cute old-fashioned fire engine.
Karina, Paige, Brandon, and Maylan climbing on the fire engine. Not the most in-focus picture (it was dark and we were trying to hurry), but it's the only one of the kids with Santa and the Mrs. Marissa wanted nothing to do with Santa and hung out with Nathan the entire time.
Maylan's favorite part of the evening was, predictably, meeting the police horse.
