So our old washer and dryer have been in a long slow process of dying for a while now and last week the washer finally spun its last spin. I must admit I was a little excited. This meant fancy new machines for me! It also meant clearing out the old, so with the laundry room empty, I decided to paint! What better color for a launry room than orange? Who wouldn't want to do laundry in this happy orange room? I love it!
This wall hanging that my mom made me was my inspiration for the color. It matches perfectly.
When I chose this washer and dryer, I decided I didn't need the pedestals that go underneath them because they were an additional $220 EACH! But now that I have them in my laundry room, I've decided that I really do need the pedestals. They would raise them up high enough to cover the ugly cords and hoses behind them. Plus, it is a pain to have to bend down to empty the machines. So, doing laundry for me now is a happy, happy experience! .jpg)

It is funny I didn't get the pedestools when we got our new machines a few months ago and wish everyday that I had got them! Love the new room.
